Presbyterian Women

Statement of Purpose: Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves:
  + to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study;
  + to support the mission of the Church worldwide;
  + to work for justice and peace; and
  + to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian  Church (U.S.A.) and witnesses to the promises of God's kingdom.

The Bible Study for the current year is "For Everything, a Season" based on Ecclesiastes 3:1, For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.

Why belong to Presbyterian Women?
      Because we belong to Christ; because we want to grow, know, worship, praise, love, serve, pray, find fellowship and sociability; and because we want to contribute to wise, directed giving for the world's needs. One of the important purposes of the local association is to provide the arena for sharing, for affirming one another, and for practicing the presence of God.
